Question below

Q.) what do i do about it... just stay with it and let it burn itself out? (i.e. like exposure therapy... have obsessional drive but don\\\'t act on it)

A.) There are many different ways to approach it, one of the best ways I've seen is NLP neuro-linguistic programming. Another approach is flooding, CBT, etc. I find that a combination of the above and other ways is the most effective for the majority of people. Pick one and really give it a chance. Don't just try one and quit after two days. The key to success is to act on what you know now while increasing your knowledge. But never wait to act on what you know just because you could know more, because you could always know more. There is no magic cure, you need to truly act on what you mentioned above with exposure therapy, this is a great method.
